Radiology Clinics NZ is a directory of 301 radiology clinic pages across Aotearoa New Zealand, covering 77 brands. The whole directory is available as one CSV file for researchers, planners and journalists.

What the directory is

Each clinic page records one radiology site: its name, brand, street address, suburb, city, region, postcode, phone number, website, Healthpoint page where one is known, and map coordinates. Every site is read from public clinic and brand web pages and reviewed by Dr. Mark Bekhit, radiologist.

How scan evidence is recorded

For each of the 12 tracked scan types, every clinic carries one of the values below: four recorded states, or unverified when nothing was found. The values describe what was found on public web pages, not what a clinic can do.

verified_branch

The clinic’s own page names this scan at this site.

provisional_provider_level

The brand names this scan, but not for this site. Shown as “Likely also included”.

unconfirmed_branch

An earlier source named this scan; the current clinic page does not settle it. Shown as “Likely also included”.

confirmed_not_offered

The clinic’s own page lists its scans and this one is not among them. Held in the dataset only; clinic pages do not show it.

unverified

No public page has been found that names this scan for this site. A blank is not evidence that the scan is unavailable.

Only verified_branch counts a clinic on the scan-type pages. Read how the directory is built for the source rules.

Fields in the CSV

Column	Meaning
`post_id`	Stable numeric ID of the clinic page. Use it to join versions.
`name`	Clinic page title.
`brand`	Radiology brand or hospital that runs the site.
`street, suburb, city, region, postcode`	Postal address parts.
`phone, website`	Contact details as listed by the clinic.
`healthpoint_url`	The clinic's page on Healthpoint, where one is known.
`lat, lng`	WGS84 map coordinates.
`mri, ct, ultrasound, xray, pet_ct, mammography, bone_density, interventional, nuclear_medicine, fluoroscopy, dental_imaging, pregnancy_ultrasound`	One column per scan type, holding one of the states above.
`data_checked_on`	Date the clinic's scan evidence was last checked (YYYY-MM-DD).
