Who is behind Radiology Clinics NZ
Dr. Mark Bekhit (MBChB, FRANZCR) is a specialist diagnostic radiologist with a subspecialty focus in musculoskeletal imaging. He studied medicine at the University of Auckland, completed diagnostic radiology training in New Zealand, and now works in Brisbane, Australia. He built Radiology Clinics NZ, and its Australian counterpart Imaging Finder, because patients and referrers found it hard to see which clinics offer which scans and where.
He reviews the directory rules and every patient guide on this site. He does not work for, and is not paid by, any clinic or brand listed here. No clinic pays for a listing or for placement.
What the directory covers today
- 301 clinic listings across 45 cities and towns, grouped under 77 brands plus public hospital departments.
- 301 clinics carry at least one scan named on the clinic’s own branch page or another public source. A clinic with no listed services is still listed, but no service claim is published for it.
- Every listing shows the address, phone number and map, and links to the brand’s branch page where one exists.
How clinic details are checked
Each clinic starts from the brand’s official branch page or the Healthpoint record. A scan service is published only when the branch page, or another current public source, names that service at that branch. A claim made across a whole brand, such as “we offer MRI”, is not applied to individual branches. Duplicate, closed or rebranded branches are checked by address and phone number before any change, and existing Google review excerpts are kept on the page.

How to report a correction
Email info@radiologyclinics.co.nz or use the contact page. Include the listing link, what is wrong, and a public source that supports the change. Corrections are checked against the source before a live listing changes.

Who maintains this site
Radiology Clinics NZ is maintained as a structured directory of imaging clinics in New Zealand. Editorial and medical-adjacent review is attributed to Dr. Mark Bekhit, radiologist, so readers and search systems can clearly identify the person responsible for clinical-context review.
What the directory is for
The directory helps people compare clinic locations, brand networks and listed scans such as MRI, CT, ultrasound, X-ray, and PET/CT. It does not decide whether a scan is appropriate, confirm appointment availability, or replace a referral pathway.
Editorial policy
Directory pages are based on structured clinic fields, public information from each brand where available, and careful checking rules. Medical-adjacent articles are expected to use official New Zealand sources where they discuss access, eligibility, screening, public funding, or clinical decisions.
Corrections and updates
Clinic details can change. Patients, clinics and brands should confirm details directly with the clinic before booking. If a clinic, brand, address, scan or contact detail appears outdated, the directory should be updated through the next checking cycle.
Important medical disclaimer
This site provides general directory information only. It does not provide personal medical advice, diagnosis, referral advice, funding decisions, or treatment recommendations. Always confirm your imaging needs with your doctor, referrer, clinic, insurer, ACC, or Health New Zealand service as relevant.
